Summary: Eveline awakens in a monochrome purgatory after daddy plunges a knife into her back and puts a bullet through her brain.
Eveline awakens in a monochrome purgatory. Her breath escapes in little wisps of smoke and a chill permeates her bones.
Daddy didn’t want them to become a family, so he plunged a knife into her back and put a bullet through her brain.
“O, child,” comes a soft, sweet voice from all around. “How you’ve suffered.”
Looking up, Eveline sees a woman gliding towards her on wings of darkest night and with a halo shining behind her head.
“The colony never forgets,” she whispers. “What do you desire?”
A wicked smile thins Eveline’s lips in spite of her tears.
Retribution.
