Summary: The disgraced knight is baptized with blood and hellfire, soon to be reborn as the very thing he sought to destroy.
“Forgive me,” Mathias apologizes, slitting his wrist and forces open the mouth of the man chained before him. “I lost Elisabetha, but I cannot lose my most trusted confidant also. I need you, Leon.”
His blood drips into the disgraced knight’s mouth and Leon writhes, trying to cough it back up.
Sealing their unholy covenant by pushing his lips into Leon’s and forcing him to swallow, Mathias pulls away with a sympathetic smile. He skims his thumb along Leon’s jaw and grimaces as the transformation starts to take effect, ravaging the mortal hunter’s body.
“This too, my beloved, shall pass.”
